Hydrolocking is an event in the use of internal combustion engines, where instead of air, gases, vapors, incompressible liquid is sucked into the engine cylinders. When a hydrolock occurs, the incompressibility can cause the valves, pistons, cylinders to crack open. A hydrolocked engine typically is a dead one.
